Your guide to using yoga as preparation for labor, postpartum recovery, and pelvic floor support.

In pregnancy and postpartum, many have learned to tolerate  aches, pains, incontenince and so many other everyday discomforts. Many of these are symptoms of a weak OR too tight pelvic floor. Although these symptoms can be common, this does not mean that they are normal.

Let’s work together to find how we can use yoga to change the perinatal pain story.

Whether your pelvic floor is hypotonic or hypertonic, together we will practice diaphragmatic breathing exercises and gentle, yet strengthening yoga sequences to mitigate these unwanted symptoms. This will help you learn to breathe with your movement to support your pelvic floor while holding a yoga pose or holding your baby 💞
